"Collaboration can lead to creation"

This spring, Holt Creative has been working with Andover Youth Services at the Cormier Youth Center on a very special video! Building the CYC has been a community project in the works for many years, and it was finally completed and opened to the public earlier this year. In celebration of its completion, the CYC will be having an official opening ceremony on June 18th that will feature our to-be-made short film telling the story of the youth center and the importance of it in our community.

Over the past several weeks, the Holt Creative crew has been visiting the youth center to collect video footage of the people and activities there. We've interviewed both the children and staff there and got to hear about their favorite memories and overall thoughts about the community at the CYC. We've also filmed lots of clips of their fun activities, including dodgeball games, fashion club, and music jam sessions.

With most of the filming complete, these past few weekends have been spent hard at work editing. It's been quite a process filled with ups and downs, but we are so excited to share our final product!

As a wise, young boy once said during our interviews, "with imagination and inspiration, collaboration can lead to creation." We certainly hope you enjoy our collaborative creation with our friends at the Cormier Youth Center!
