Camera: Juliana’s new Canon T6i! It has video autofocus, touch screen, wifi connectivity, and more!
Lens: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Anna’s wonderful lense with a shallow aperture!
Stabilizer: Roxant Pro It helps us achieve a beautiful and steady shot free from any shake or clunky movement!
Tripod: Anna’s Dolica AX620B100 62-Inch Proline Tripod and Velbon PH-368 Fluid Head quality tripod for a great price!
Aperture: anything below f/1.8; blurry backgrounds make the subject of our videos/photos stand out more!
Video Editor: Adobe Premiere Pro We’ve learned how to use it on it a pretty basic level, but there are so many complex functions and tricks on it that we have yet to learn!
Youtube Inspiration: Kurt Hugo Schneider, a deservingly famous Youtuber. His music videos, often collaborations with other popular musicians, are simply amazing, and will leave you in awe. Check out this Christmas song medley done in one take with no post-editing trickery! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHpaCq7xIQM. From intricately planned one-takes to rotating 3D videos, Kurt’s videos are unlike any others. We at Holt Creative can only aspire to become as smart, talented, and creative as Kurt!
Food consumed whilst working: omelets. I (Juliana) had cheese, ham, peppers, cilantro, and black pepper in an omelet. It was heavenly. How I yearn for the days when JDProd (currently known as Holt Creative) doubled as a gourmet brunch restaurant.
Beverage: coffee chocolate Just a spoon full of coffee makes the chocolate more coffee, the coffee more chocolate, the chocolate more coffee.
Picture taken while editing: LOL. As you can probably guess, this was taken after a long day of editing...

11. Song: “Hold Back the River” by James Bay Only few will discover our many renditions and covers of this beautiful musical masterpiece. This glorious song got us through the dark and difficult editing times!

12. Font: Soho Condensed & Annie use your Telescope Ha! That last font's name though!
13. Title of Group Chat: How can we choose just one? chat names included the following: fight song, avocado sauce, JUMPYPRETZELPROD, pals forever, pals sauce, petfriend8, jd productions, holt creative… etc. The chats were CHAOS. Each time one of us spoke a new group message would be created in our phones!

14. Canon employee: trick question- ALL OF THEM! We visited Hunt’s Camera Show in a local town and all the Canon representatives were all very amiable and engaging!
15. Customer support: Adobe (we talked to Staples, our 2 video adult accomplices, Adobe, Verbatim, Canon) We had a pleasurable time speaking on the phone with adobe customer support and we were grateful that they did not appear to be annoyed with us even though we spoke to them for hours. Our only criticism is that we wish they had been open on the weekends because we needed them a lot.
16. New year’s resolution: daily blogging (... Let’s be real, more like monthly blogging!)
17. Pizza: this lovely one topped with pineapples that we devoured during our shoot of the cosmic americana experience that was The Luggnuts.

18. Stop motion collaboratively created by holt creative: a world without teachers
19. Time of day: golden hour Yay for sunshine and light flares!
20. People we respect: Hank and John Green
Hank and John officially run the entire planet, whether you know it or not. Let’s begin with our dear friend John. John is a best selling author. Hank is the man responsible for the “Lizzie Bennett Diaries”. Both John and Hank run “Crash Course”, an educational youtube channel that has episodes for anything that you need to know about. Between the two of them, they have created nearly 500 of these episodes. John and Hank also run multiple popular Youtube channels, like the Vlogbrothers, in which they make interesting and educational videos. Every year, John and Hank run a charity event called “Project For Awesome” where they raise over a million dollars for various charities. In addition to this, they are the geniuses behind Vidcon, as well as the owners of their own warehouse (DFTBA warehouse), supplying merchandise for more than 20 famous youtubers. On top of all of this, they just started a podcast.
THANKS FOR READING! HAVE A GREAT 2016!
